Ian Cook – Managing Director
Ian is a co-founder and director of RDA Group and has over 25 years experience in providing ERP consulting to business in industries including Distribution, HR Recruitment, Professional Services, Car Parking, Manufacturing, Land Development and Resources.
Richard Appleton – Finance Director
Co-founder and director of RDA Group, Richard has a strong background in finance having completed a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting and Finance and working in the industry before moving into IT. He has had over 15 years experience in providing ICT consulting to businesses across a variety of industries.
Martin Harris – Technical Director
Martin began his employment with RDA as a technical engineer. His significant input into the business quickly moved him into a managerial role and in 2001 Martin took on the challenge of expanding the business to Sydney, and later Melbourne and Brisbane. Having been in the IT services industry for 15 years, he brings first hand experience in managing enterprise service environments, WAN solution projects and specialises in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity. With significant focus across a broad range of technologies such as VMware, Tivoli, Citrix and Data Storage, Martin plays a key role in solution development and the training and assistance of RDA’s technical team.
Sean D’Souza – General Manager
With an MBA from the University of Western Australia and a Computing Degree, along with Microsoft and IBM Technical and Sales Certifications, Sean brings a great deal of management, industry and technical expertise to the GM role. Sean has worked with clients in the Financial Services, Professional Services, Education, Health and Resource industries providing Network Infrastructure, IT Strategy Formulation, Consulting and Procurement expertise. With over 12 years experience in ICT consulting, supply and sales to business, Sean’s IT knowledge combined with his managerial skills provides invaluable contributions assisting clients gain improvements in operational efficiency and competitive advantages from the use of technology within their business.
Desiree Silversten - Business Systems Manager, Western Region
Desiree joined the RDA management team in 2008, bringing significant industry experience to the role of Business Systems Manager in our Perth branch. Desiree has worked with (RDA partner) Sage since 1993 and throughout her 14 years covered a range of roles and responsibilities including technical consultancy, training, project management, marketing, sales and team management. Specialising in financials, operations and manufacturing, Desiree contributes brilliant expertise and knowledge to our business systems team in WA and RDA as a whole.
Shane Jones – Business Systems Manager, Eastern Region
Shane has almost two decades of experience in all aspects of Business Systems including process review, business re-engineering and stakeholder relationships. Within the private and public sectors, Shane has provided consulting services for a broad range of industries such as aviation, construction, professional services, wholesale distribution retailing, manufacturing, and rural and hospitality technology. His extensive management skills and expertise is an invaluable asset to the RDA team.
Matt Johnson - Network Systems Engineer, Western Region
Matt has over 10 years experience in the IT industry and joined RDA Group as a technical engineer in 2001. Since then Matt has worked in technical sales consultancy and support supervision before beginning his current position as Network Systems Manager in 2006. His employment history with RDA Group ensures Matt maintains invaluable knowledge of our Perth based clients, facilitating his team of engineers and support staff to provide the premium service RDA Group guarantee.
Steve Currie - Network Systems Manager, Eastern Region
Steve brings a wealth of business acumen, systems design, project management and client service expertise to RDA Group. Over the past nine years he’s worked in the IT services industry for a number of large organisations such as Reckitt Benckiser (UK), Elesevier (UK) and Unisys where he gained extensive solution design and global project implementation experience. During his four years with Unisys, Steve managed global Active Directory projects, Exchange upgrades and Disaster Recovery projects. Steve was also responsible for the implementation of the Department of Education’s Exchange 2003 system supporting 1.3 million users, along with the Active Directory rollout for the 2003 Rugby World Cup. Based in Sydney, Steve is responsible for client service requirements across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland.
